What happened and what's expected to happen
gm&gn frens, this is the new “This Week on DigitDAO” column, focusing on bringing you the latest news on what’s happened in DigitDAO in the past week. Here at DigitDAO, we aims to eventually build a society based on decentralized digitalization, where political governance and social management are transparent, where people live freely and are equally treated. In the past few weeks, the governance team has decided to restructure DigitDAO, and has performed some actions. In this weekly report we are going to cover the most important few.

Notion Page Reincarnated
We are updating the looks and content of DigitDAO’s Notion page. In the past, we have focused on using Metaforo to be the only place for information sharing. We have decided to use Notion as a place where we store important information, and where contributors can work together. Our future drafts, activity plans, any document you can think of will be there.
On the Notion page, you will find that we have some “Groups” listed there. The “Group” function has two purposes: a) to let people who have the same skills work together on the same page; b) collect all relevant document. For example, you will find this article to be listed under the “Content & Marketing” group on our Notion.
Notion will also be the place where all contributors work together. Whether it is that you have a plan ready to share with others, you can store it on Notion*. For example, we have an incubator plan currently work in progress. You can check it our on our Notion page, and contribute to building it if interested.
Contribute & Be Rewarded
Speaking of the incubator plan, here are some key information we’d like to share. DigitDAO aims to build a society based on decentralized digitalization, and is dedicated to supporting relevant research and development. Therefore, we’d like to dedicate part of the treasury fund in order to support these projects. For more info, check out this link Drafting Incubation Plan. Members contributing to this project will be rewarded on a retroactive basis.
Supporting Ethereum Development Co-learning activity
In the past two weeks, NameDAO has been co-building the Etheruem Development Co-learning activity, initiated by communities from China. DigitDAO would like to do a quick shoutout for this brilliant activity. Here is the link to their website.
This themed event is a grand ceremony for the community. It not only commemorates the origin of Ethereum and Shanghai, but also provides an opportunity for the Builders who are still exploring. We hope that more communities will participate, collaborate in a decentralized manner, and improve the agenda together. Make rules. We hope to be fair and open, and the content can closely revolve around the spirit of Ethereum and blockchain, so that more builders can be seen, and more community practitioners who pay attention but have no suitable onboard opportunities become part of the Ethereum ecosystem and continue to build Ethereum ecology.
De-cluttering Discord Channels
We know that too many channels, too many messages can be noisy. Therefore, starting next week, we will be conducting an overhaul on our Discord server. This will include:
Archive all unnecessary channels;
Change certain channels’ notification scheme to muted;
Archive unnecessary categories
Archive unnecessary bots.
If you have any suggestions for the renovation of our Discord server, please message arvinc.bit#3031.
Even More to Come…
In the next few weeks, DigitDAO will be focusing on structuring a contribution&rewarding form for members, starting with the Incubator Plan. Also, we will be doing co-learning activities on some of the most recent news, such as the new Balaji’s Podcast, focusing on starting new countries, upgrading Ethereum, and improving yourself. Content generation and basic structures forming will be the theme for DigitDAO in the near future. Stay tuned.
